| Installation Tidbits for Mac OSX

 | |
| I created a 3-step tutorial on how to install SRILM on Mac OSX (10.7.4). You
 | |
| can find the tutorial here:

| ------------------------------------
 | |
|
 | |
| I've added two new MacOSX targets and Makefiles in SRILM/common:
 | |
|
 | |
| Makefile.machine.macosx-m32 (MACHINE_TYPE=macosx-m32)
 | |
| Makefile.machine.macosx-m64 (MACHINE_TYPE=macosx-m364
 | |
|
 | |
| The new targets allow the developer to make an explicit choice whether
 | |
| to compile 32- or 64-bit binaries on the most recent version of MacOS
 | |
| X.
 | |
|
 | |
| To build 32-bit binaries on MacOS X 10.6, build using "make MACHINE_TYPE=macosx-m32".
 | |
| To build 64-bit binaries on MacOS X 10.6, build using "make MACHINE_TYPE=macosx-m64".
 | |
|
 | |
| I've left the original Makefile (Makefile.machine.macosx) and target
 | |
| as is, for those using older versions of the OS. On 10.6, this will
 | |
| create 64-bit binaries.
